Sitcoms Are So Easy, Even a Caveman Could Do It

ABC announced it will be picking up a new sitcom called “Caveman”, inspired by the characters in the GEICO insurance commercials.  The sitcom will be taking the place of “The George Lopez Show”.

George Lopez cited economics and race in criticizing the move:

“I get kicked out for a f****** caveman and shows that I out-performed because I’m not owned by ABC? So a f****** Chicano can’t be on TV but a f****** caveman can? And a Chicano with an audience already? You know when you get in this that shows do not last forever, but this was an important show and to go unceremoniously like this hurts. One hundred seventy people lost their jobs. TV just became really, really white again.”

Fool. Those Cavemen are also Hispanic but unlike your show
    they will probably be funny.

So i’m curious as to who said the cavemen were caucasion anyway, how does G. Lopez know that they weren’t latino?
