Stork Delivers Twin Girls To Marcia Cross
Her first pregnancy may have come in at an age considered by many to be quite late, but 44-year old Marcia Cross more than makes up for the lateness when she delivered two apparently healthy fraternal twin daughters on February 20.
The Desperate Housewives star and the twins, named Eden and Savannah, are doing well, according to her rep, Heidi Slan. She married stockbroker Tom Mahoney in June last year.
The Desperate Housewives staff must have heaved a sigh of relief at the news. In case you didn’t know, Marcia, who plays Bree Van de Kamp in the hit ABC series, had been on bed rest since January, even though she had a relatively “problem-free pregnancy”. As a result, producers ordered the show’s set designers to bring in furniture from the set into Marcia’s home, and make her bedroom look like Bree Van de Kamp’s so they can continue shooting there.
Anyway, congratulations to Marcia and her hubby.
