Superhero movies have been delayed
“The Avengers” will be delayed almost a year from July 15, 2011 to May 4, 2012. “Thor” will be released on June 17, 2011 instead of July 16, 2010. “The First Avenger: Captain America” will be released on July 22, 2011 instead of May 16, 2011. “Iron Man 2″ will be released as scheduled on May 7, 2010.

Marvel has also confirmed that “Spiderman 4″ will hit theaters on May 6, 2011. I can’t wait for this one to come out!The new schedule “maximizes the visibility of our single character-focused films, leading to the highly anticipated release of the multi-character ‘The Avengers,’” said David Maisel, chairman of Marvel Studios, in a statement.
