The Hoff Temporarily Loses Right To See Kids

Now this is just getting sadder and sadder.
Less than a week after that video of David Hasselhoff dead drunk and eating food off the floor became public, a Los Angeles judge temporarily stripped Hasselhoff of his rights to visit his two daughters in response to a petition from his ex-wife Pamela Bach.
Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Mark Juhas granted an emergency order filed by Hasselhoff’s ex-wife, Pamela Bach, who was present in court. Hasselhoff didn’t attend the session.
“He suspended all visitation and custody until May 21,” says Bach’s attorney, Debra Opri, who is also asking that the judge order Hasselhoff into rehab before he can again see his daughters Hayley, 14, and Taylor Ann, 16.
Hasselhoff attorney Melvin S. Goldsman confirmed that the judge suspended visitation pending a report from a court-appointed psychologist.
Now that ought to drive Hasselhoff into drinking some more. I’m not a fan of the guy, who I consider one of the cheesiest acts ever. Still, I believe he loves his kids, and the kids love him back, or Taylor Ann wouldn’t have made those voice-over pleas begging her dad to stop drinking. It’s not like he called her a “rude, thoughtless little pig” or something. Definitely not “Father of the Year” material though, but he does seem to be an OK dad just the same.
