Uh-Oh, Smells Like Someone’s Getting Dumped Soon
Jessica Simpson and John Mayer are spending some time together in Miami, but it looks like there’s a bit of trouble in paradise.
Page Six reports that while the couple have been mugging enthusiastically for paparazzi during their stay there, there seems to be a shortage of words between the two lovebirds.
Spies at Nobu in South Beach told Page Six that, despite the ruckus caused by their entrance, the two barely spoke on their Tuesday night date. “John was extremely quiet and didn’t speak a lot,” said a source, while Jessica “just gave a lot of puppy-dog looks and twirled and twisted her hair.” The two were seen holding hands, but Simpson left Mayer for 20 minutes while she “fixed herself up for the camera” before heading back to their hotel.
A lot of people have been saying that all those photos together are designed just to make Jessica’s ex Nick Lachey realize what he’s missing. WTF? Nick Lachey has moved on, and is clearly happy with the much hotter though sometimes annoying Vanessa Minillo. So what is this “ruse” to get back at Lachey all about? Does she really expect Lachey to throw a fit at the sight of her ex-wife canoodling with a guy who looks like he hasn’t had a shower in weeks?
In any case, we won’t be surprised if Jessica dumps his smelly arse anytime soon.
