Vanessa Minnillo Drops Her Underwear, Uh, I Mean, the F-Bomb

Remember the days before nipplegate when live programming really was live and a good f-bomb was dropped every once in a while. Well, that’s what happened on New Year’s Eve in the MTV studios. Stupidly, MTV executives were trying to prove a point that they didn’t need the six or seven second censor.
Now, had I been in that meeting, I might have pointed out that there was probably going to be liquor involved, and that a censor buffer might be smart – you know – especially after the whole Viacom Janet Jackson Nipple thing (and yes, I know CBS is now not a part of Viacom, but Sumner is still everyone’s both kid’s father even though they have different mothers).
Anyhoooo, Vanessa Minnillo was hosting the New Year’s bash with b-fri Nick Lachey when she dropped the F-bomb. Granted, she immediately caught herself, but…seriously, the damage was already done…that’s right, because the “new guy” wanted to impress some people by ditching his f-bomb buffer. The moral of the story is bring back Tom Freston. [Source]
