Willa Ford To Play Anna Nicole Smith
One-hit wonder and Dancing With the Stars castoff Willa Ford has been cast to play Anna Nicole Smith in an indie biopic that will cover the departed Playboy Playmate’s life from age 17 until her death at the age of 39.
To refresh your memory about Willa’s so-so pop music career, she had one big single “I Wanna Be Bad” and the next thing we know, she’s posing for Playboy, and eventually became a contestant in a dance show that mostly features D-listers.
OK, let’s say she can sing, and she can dance. The question is, can she act? But I guess the more sensible question is, does it really matter? From the few B-movies we saw Anna Nicole star in, we know she wasn’t much of an actress. So why should the film’s producers hire a real actress when they could get someone whose acting talent probably approximates that of the late Playmate’s? That, as far as I’m concerned, is a piece of inspired casting. Hire a non-actress to play a dead non-actress.
Now if they could only get Jay Mohr to play Larry Birkhead. Really, the resemblance between the two is so striking it gives me the creeps.

willa ford can act. I have seen her acting since she was a little girl i school. i went to school with her at eisenhower jr high and east bay high school, and she’s been performing for years. she done great playing sandy in grease for our school production. i think she’ll do great playing anna nicole and all great actresses start somewhere.

I saw a interview with Willa on “Extra” this weekend and I could not believe she was so Horrible. she said things about Anna Nicole that were horrible for someone who will be hoping Anna’s fans will watch and for her to say the things she said was horrible, I hope she falls on her face.

Hey, take my word for it, Willa can act. Her fake orgasms are some of the best ever!!! Anna would just lay there and jiggle, but Willa actually moves some.
