Midnight Sun Expectations

midnight.jpg

So there’s a lot of speculation about Breaking Dawn by Stephenie Meyer.

However, with positive feedback, comes negative feedback.  So Meyer fans, and haters are you ready for Midnight Sun? It’s Edwards’s version of the Twilight saga.   Most of you hardcore readers have been engulfed in the saga to only know Bella’s and just recently Jacob’s perspecitives of the way things are.   But we never really understood the way Edward saw things.

Midnight Sun is Stephenie’s next project. What are we to expect?  In the beginning of Twilight, Bella didn’t know Edward, so what will Edward’s story be like?  Another thing to look forward to is the part where Edwards acted like he hated Bella.  I am way excitied to read his thoughts about his first encounters with Bella.  I agree with other critics, his first day at Forks High School would be much more interesting then Bella’s.

So you know what guys, lets cut the bullshit- Why don’t I just let you read Midnight Sun chapter one. Click here . Post your thoughts, I’d really love that.

I Actually already read this but I remember seeing it and thinking “god, didn’t I already read this story?” And then I Read it and I am SO excited. I’m actually very interested in hearing about Alice’s visions of Bella before this whole mess gets started, and seeing Edward in Denali. I’m especially hoping the SM puts in a section about him telling his family and getting them to come around to his side of things, because I always found it very convenient that the Cullens were all just so happy because he was happy. I’m hoping it took some convincing to get them to see that it was alright to tell their secrets.

The only thing I’m kind of disappointed in is that there will probably be NO Jacob whatsoever. Except maybe if she rewrites the prom chapter. That makes me kind of sad.

I too have already read it. I am super excited. To get know Edward Cullen more and get inside his head is going to be awesome! Can’t wait!

  5. Brooke Says:

I’m so looking forward to “Midnight Sun,” and getting back to where it all began. Plus, maybe it’ll shed more light on the Cullens, too. It’s going to be great to see all the behind-the-scenes stuff that Bella had no idea about. Can’t stinkin’ wait.

I can’t wait for it to come out. I read the first chapter awhile ago, and I’ve been excited ever since. I’ve always wanted to know what’s going on in Edward’s mind. I’m absolutely in love with him, and I know this book will help me to see him in an even better light.

    WHAT ABOUT THE AMERICAN EXPECTATIONS?
(give it some thoughts, will ya?)

  12. Jorden Says:

I have read the chp…and read the chp and I am soo freaking stoked for Midnight Sun. I have higher expectations for Midnight Sun then I ever had for Breaking Dawn. Edward’s my favorite character and I really enjoyed getting his point of view. He put a lot of vampire aspects in preception for us then Bella ever did in Breaking Dawn. The whole first chp was severe intensity unlike Twilight, New Moon, and Breaking Dawn. It started with a bang and even though we know how it will end, I think Edward will once again leave us bitten.

  13. Morgan Says:

YAY!!! ☺ i can’t wait for Midnight Sun….. i’ve already read the first chapter and i’m dying for the rest. It’ll be great to see how Edward see’s Bella instead of the other way round….Edward is by far my favourite so i can’t wait to read his thoughts!! Also the bit here he arrives at the airport and Bella isn’t there, then him going to save her-that should be good…..when is it expected to come out????????????????????

  19. kaykay Says:

OMG…..I love it!!! I cannot wait to read the whole thing. I wish she would do one from Jacob’s point of view, his little section in “Breaking Dawn” is Hilarious. I am and always have rooted for Jacob……but I like Edward too =)

  20. Margie Says:

I guess it doesn’t really matter anymore, since everyone knows and is talking about it, but what do you guys all think about the Midnight Sun leak?

Even though the first 12 chapters are posted on her site, I can’t bear to read them. They aren’t finished or edited, not presented the way she wanted them presented, and I feel almost disloyal. She even said that she’s almost tired with the characters for now, and doesn’t really feel like writing anything about them now. I, for one, am heartbroken.

  21. raydgeen Says:

omg i love this i cant wait to get the book

  22. Kai Yamagashi Says:

I like it, I’m really excited, and I don’t think it’s dumb to write a story that follows the same storyline, I’m actually relieved she’s writing more, because Twilight was really good, and so were the rest, and writers shouldn’t just give up after something like that.
Plus, Edward’s point of view should be really interesting. And if it goes over well, maybe she’ll write his version of New Moon, which would be insanely good.

  23. Jayne Says:

I cannot wait for Midnight Sun. I’d also really love it if SM wrote Breaking Dawn from Edward’s point of view as well. I’d love to have his perspective of the wedding and the “new” Bella after she becomes immortal!!
